These essential plugs ensure that any old binding holes are sealed.
They are easy to use, and here are some top tips from our workshop:
1) Don't get hung up on colour, most of the time these will hide under your new bindings if being fitted!
2) For easier insertion, put the plugs in a glass of water boiled
from a kettle for 5 minutes. This will soften them a little allowing you
to press them in much further.
3) To insert, place a block of wood under your ski and the area of
the plug, and then use a rubber mallet and strike the plugs from
directly above. If you are lucky enough to have a press you can also use
this.
4) Trim any excess carefully with a fresh stanley blade.
5) For the perfect seal, if you have a soldering iron gently melt
and swirl the plug to really get it sealed at the edges of the old hole.

A pair (two) of metal vise supports for snowboard tuning from Swix. The board is fixed upright when working on the side edges. Adjustable width for better stability when the board is laid flat for waxing.
Temperature adjustable 1000W RaceWax wax iron (120 volt) with a double-thick baseplate dimpled and grooved for excellent wax distribution. Temperature range of 80-170 C (176-338 F).
Swix Base-Side Dual Edge Tool. Dial a precise side angle from 0 degree to 5 degrees and base angle of 0.5 to 1.0 degree. Nine angles total.

Bonus Benefit for the edge tool: If you don't know what base and side angles your ski/board are set to, this tool can help you find them. Before you start mark the metal edge with a sharpie, start the tool at the lowest angle and see if it removes the marking on your edge. Raise the angle step-wise and repeat until it removes the mark. That is your angle! Record the base/side angles for future reference.
