Here is a rare original casting of a 1:6 scale built and painted resin model kit depicting the "snake man" from the subconscious landscapes depicted in the paranoid sci-fi thriller Dreamscape (1984). The fascinating concept of being able to implant thoughts by entering a patient's dream makes for some impressive visuals, including this menacing creature animated in the film by Randy Cook.
As the imprint on the reverse of the kit's base shows, this is a 1994 Dimensional Designs casting and has been bulit and painted as pictured. Great diorama is over 14" tall, with the resin figure perched upon a weathered wood base.
