ATTRIBUTION: **
OBV. (10):
A bold repunched date is evident as secondary digits below the primary 5 and 7 with minor doubling of the 1."
The DDO does not appear evident, possibly because the "CW hub doubling" did not occur or is imperceptibly small on this coin.
REV. (P) Die Stage A:
No die cracks
Comments:

This similar to many other double dies of this year, but the repunched date makes it much more desirable!.
This is unusual, due to the few repunched dates found this year......."

THANK YOU FOR LOOKING!!

A really stunning example of this short-lived series of the first small cents. A flawless coin graded by NGC as Uncirculated but noting an obverse cleaning. Sometimes one wonders if a coin was graded by NGC on a bad day, or the grader was having eye problems! There is no difference between the surfaces of the obverse and reverse, so there is no sense in claiming one is cleaned and the other not. If I were not going to sell this coin, I would crack it out and resubmit it. Still, it is what it is and has been priced accordingly. This is an excellent buy for someone who is looking for a beautiful Flying Eagle for their type set. Offered with NO RESERVE!
PLEASE NOTE:
I have been an eBay member since 1999 with over 600 transactions and a 100% positive rating. I am now liquidating my 60-year coin collection. However, due to eBay’s new payment policies, I initially could not list my coins on my original account because I accepted the new “managed payments” system, which at that time excluded coins. In order to list coins, I had to establish a new account which didn’t use the new system, but dealt with PayPal payments like the old policy. Now I am being forced to convert THIS account to the “managed payments” system or lose the ability to list ANYTHING on eBay! I will continue to list items from my collection on this account, but if you would like, please check my original, and still active, account (“stillprospector23”) for my legitimacy. Thank you for your understanding!
