An absolutely gorgeous 1858 small letters, flying eagle cent graded MS 64 by PCGS. It carries an exceptional strike throughout both the obverse and reverse with very richly toned original surfaces. This appealing coin is at the top tier of quality for the grade and has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder.
This date holds a huge mintage of 24,600,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 4,500 have survived in all grades today that are the small letters style such as this one. This coin is one of only 361 graded Mint State 64 by PCGS.
